My mom and I were on our way down to Vancouver yesterday to go biking, however, we had to stop at Urban Barn first, then IKEA, then the roots outlet....and needless to say... we didnt end up going biking. We drove past a tiny little movie prop/consignment/antique shop in "Hollywood North" which is what Vancouver's film industry is called, for those of you who don't know.
Well we quickly pulled over as my mom is an antique connoisseur, and always on the hunt for unique vintage things. They're were beautiful fur coats and shawls, antique furniture, random movie props and beautiful costumes. Anyone who knows me knows I love my hats, so it was no surprise I was drooling over the hat rack in this shop! Dainty fascinates, hats that could be worn to derbys, top hats, and all so beautiful! I found myself in love with one hat in particular- a dusty rose beret.
I cant help but think this hat is a cashmere blend, and the colour, I think, compliments my skin tone quite well. It is such a feminine, classic piece, and I imagine myself frolicking through Paris in this hat while I'm there!
We also found this real Mongolian fur pillow while we were there. The store just got it in that day and hadn't priced it yet, so when we asked how much, they threw an incredibly low number out ($30) unaware of how much Mongolian fur pillows actually go for ($70+)....and we actually heard the lady murmur that she should have priced it higher once we snapped it up! Me and Susie take getting deals very seriously.
And there she is... in all her Mongolian beauty ♡
