I was recently at H&M letting my credit card get some air, and it accidentally ventured out of my wallet and right into the change room and then to the interact machine! I couldn't believe it! However, it was a good girl, and made a non-impulse (sort of) purchase.
For the longest time, I hated denim. This started when I was a little tom-boy girl. I own the bare minimum of denim: dark wash, black, and grey (which are hardly denim, yet the best pair of pants I own! Gap Kids size 10 elastic waist, stretch denim. And they didnt even need to be hemmed. Oh the perks of being short!)
So when I found this pair of light washed demin that fit like a glove, and would be a summer staple piece, I knew it was a good purchase... and because they're from H&M, it didnt cost an arm & a leg.

I styled the casual light denim with an over sized cream top, and black and white chunky knit cardigan with leather clasp and enlarged collar. The sleeves are a flattering length, and help make it look proportioned while the rest of it has a more, loose, oversized appearance. To finish the look off, I wore a silver watch, black ankle booties, and a very very very, subtle redy-orange lip.
I think this look is very 'put together' while still looking casual. The chunky textured sweater with leather clasp just amps the entire look up, giving it a New York vibe (which is what I'm all about!)
