Guess Who's Back... Back Again.

It's been a while since Ben's been featured on here simply because he is living in Calgary and I haven't seen him in almost 2 months.  However, I still make him send me pictures of some of his work outfits.
He recently purchased grey converse shoes while in Calgary and informed me he would be wearing them with his suit. I just about died. But he proved me wrong when he sent me his OOTD. I was quite impressed with how he styled his look, and the casual shoe choice did not look one bit out of place (well done Ben. I'm proud.)

Considering the casual shoe choice, I thought Ben made a good choice by wearing a classic black suit with white dress shirt. He left the top button of the shirt un-done, and skipped out on wearing a tie which makes this look appear very laid back but also very put together.

So if any guys read this blog: try mixing casual and dressy elements in your outfits. The outcome to this approach of dressing appears effortless, while still maintaining a very proper, respectable image. It doesn't just have to be a casual shoe with an overall "dressy" outfit,  it could be vice versa- a little dress shoe and denim combo never hurt anyone... (just sayin).

(Thank you to my cousin, Lauren, for the photography.)

I am a full time fashion student and a full time fashionista. Being both is hard, but rewarding work. Keeping up with trends, while keeping up with homework... It's harder than keeping up with the Kardashian's! Lucky for me, neither of these professions slow down; hence full time. Homework is always piling up, and trends are always changing, but that's what I love about this industry!
