I have been packing for a few upcoming trips, and have previously re arranged my closet (which was a nightmare). Too much stuff, too little space. I'm a hoarder of clothes, and I can't help it...or do anything about it. Like I honestly don't know how I've accumulated THAT MUCH stuff. Like it's actually a struggle every single day to figure out what to wear... and this makes packing so difficult because I want to be able to wear everything and I have so many outfit combinations (literally thousands....).
Anyways, to get back on track here.... I found a pair of pants that I haven't worn since grade 12. Which was about 2 years ago, and even then I think I only wore those pants once (sad). They are navy blue pants (**not denim**) and I suddenly have this re kindled love for them! WHERE HAVE THEY BEEN THE PAST 2 YEARS.... no seriously, where? My closet was a mess. I just think they are very classic, and hello, navy blue! Not going out of style anytime soon... meaning they are timeless! I picked them up from Abercrombie when they were having a sale (because lets face it.... paying full price is over-rated. That's why places like Winners exist. Because deal finders are winners, right?).

They are super comfy, and obviously too long, so I solve that problem by cuffing them up a few times (yes, a few times). Navy is absolutely with out a doubt a neutral colour. Anyone who says otherwise is crazy in my mind. Navy is a flawless colour, it looks good with anything and everything, and is a must have in EVERYONES closet! (So get yourself a pair of navy pants!)
I decided to style these pants a little on the preppy side by pairing them with a crisp white blouse with the top 2 buttons left undone, and as well as the bottom button so I could tuck one side in slightly (messy chic, let's say). I layered a long(ish) leopard print cardigan over top of the blouse and messily rolled up the sleeves to give it that "thrown together" look. I kept my jewelry minimal by wearing a classic silver watch, leopard print studded cuff, and dainty gold rings. My trusty black structured bag, and black heel-less ankle booties completed this look simply because I can't live without them!

{This is Charlee by the way!!!! Looking like a teddy bear as per usual.}
Well, this has been my last Vancouver outfit before taking off for warmer weather. So hopefully the California sun will be good to me, and I'll come back blogging tan! Like I said about New York, I'll try posting outfits, but honestly, it's most likely not going to happen, so I'll just apologize in advance. Once I'm back and sporting tan lines, I'll catch up from New York and California!
{This melts my heart}
