Actually, Zara did it again. Well I guess it's a two way street: Zara had a sale, and I am weak. So you can probably figure out where this is going.
I picked up 3 beautiful pieces that I am completely obsessed with (I say that about all my clothes, actually. They're like children, you can't just have ONE favourite. Well I'm sure some people do, but that's just wrong (I'm talking about clothes, not kids by the way).

First of all, this striped beauty- you should know by now that I'm a sucker for black and white so it's no surprise that this caught my eye as soon as I saw it. (love at first sight, you could say). The material is super soft, but plot twist, despite it's appearance, it is not a knit! "SAY WHAT!?"... I know. It's a woven- with no stretch to it. Because of the small neckline, and no stretch whatsoever, there is a small zipper down center back. I am excited to style this with jeans and printed boots, and maybe a statement piece! Actually, I am so excited to style this with many things! (The sleeves even look really cute rolled up!)
I would just like to quickly say that I am mortified about this picture. I DID NOT STEAM THIS SKIRT BEFORE PHOTOGRAPHING IT. IT IS FRESH OUT OF THE BAG. So my apologies that it looks super unfortunate right now. I promise when it is actually styled and steamed, it is quite fabulous.
Okay, now that that's off my chest: this has to be BY FAR my favourite purchase EVER! This is a beautiful silk, dusty rose coloured skirt that has a soft hand, and lovely drape to it. As you can see, it is slightly high low (and to be honest, I've never been a huge fan of high low) but I like how the "high" of this skirt hits mid shin. And it pairs really nicely with the blue sweater! Pictures to come!

It's really hard to see the shape of the garment in this picture just because of the navy blue colour, however, this is just a basic light weight sweater with a very modest, flattering neckline, and fitted sleeves. It is slightly loose, without being oversized! AND THE BEST PART?? $9.99!! A navy blue sweater is such a great staple piece as navy is a colour that pairs well with everything. I'm excited to dress this piece up and down by styling it differently1 I've already played around with blue on blue (with a pop of leopard), and blue and black! Quite chic, I must say!
These are the latest editions to my growing family of clothing articles, and I will have some upcoming posts where each of these pieces are shown in an outfit.
